Orchid and Onyx

A Tokitikki Signature Design, this gorgeous necklace was just featured in a music video set to release in late 2008. Orchids are considered symbols of perfection, love and fertility. This is a real, perfect black and red orchid preserved forever in a nearly unbreakable polyresin compound. This stunning centrepiece is about 58mm in width. The rest of the necklace is comprised of two strands of onyx and sterling silver, strung to lay perfectly flat on the neck when worn. Onyx is said to be an aid in changing bad habits and quietening fears. It also helps protect from violence and illness. Beautifully Baroque

Luscious, lustrous silver baroque pearls individually mounted on sterling silver wire. These six stunning pearls are mounted to an antique sterling silver chain, which is closed with a sterling silver toggle clasp. Five of the pearls are the same perfect fog grey, the sixth pearl being two shades paler for a note of contrast. Twisted Gypsy

This necklace has so much character and sparkle. Seventeen inches long, the necklace is made of beautifully polished Hematite in both tiny rice and twisted rectangle shapes. The pendant is handmade of fire-polished glass and hand-soldered pewter, I picked it up at a fair a few years ago. It caught my eye, and it took me nearly a year of picking it up and putting it down to finally figure out what it needed. Hematite is a very intriguing stone, its metaphysical properties are said to offer the wearer courage and endurance as well as strengthening the heart, regulating the pulse and assisting in the cure of ulcers, cramps and blood disorders such as anemia.
