So, I’m parked in the airport for a couple more hours to wait for the MRT to start running again. (That’s the metro train to the city.) I could have taken a taxi, but that’s expensive and I haven’t figured out where I’m going anyway. So I’m hanging out with free wifi and cool music until I decide.

I’ve got my free wifi and a chai latte and some Singapore dollars and a suggestion for a hostel. Things are working out. I have my ticket in hand for my flight on Qatar airways to Denpasar BALI tomorrow!!! I’m leaving at 4pm, so I think today is all about exploring, then having a Singapore Sling with this girl Amy I met on the plane tonight. We commiserated about how noisy the children were in front us. I offered her ambien…she already had some! Glorious. 

I will stay in a hostel tonight, recommended to me by the girl at the airport info desk – her parents stay there when they visit. Tomorrow I’ll get up early to get to the airport and see the butterfly garden at the airport. Maybe I’ll try to find it here in a few. Nothing else to do.

My goal is to get some writing done over the next couple of days. I have s lot of blogging to catch up on, and a column due in a couple of days. I’ve started several, as usual, and finished none.

I will post adventures from recent exploits in random order, based on the dates they happened. But then I’ll link to them on the slider bar at the top of the page or as a new post on the blog. Prepare for entertainment!

My stomach hasn’t quite caught up with me, it’s still sensitive from the bug I had on the last day.
I’m still exhausted and relatively out of sorts.
I have some great pictures I will attempt to start a gallery for (yay, new blog design, oh shit what do I do with it?).
I am going to try to do a yoga class later, but frankly, I just want to eat a loaf of bread. In the form of toast. With butter.
