passive – aggressive
Oh, I get so frustrated about this affliction. It seems to affect so many people I know, and I hate it. I have tried to overcome any tendencies, and so far, I think I’m succeeding. In the last year, I’ve learned to say what I mean and mean what I say.
Why can’t everyone else do the same?
Why try to make me feel guilty for saying what I think?
Don’t you think it would work out better for you if you just say ‘You know, that doesn’t work for me” or whatever you’re thinking? Because until you do so, I’m going to keep getting my way. I DO NOT KNOW BETTER UNLESS YOU SPEAK UP. When I learn to read minds, I will be sure to let you know.
Got it?

So, I was reading my favourite blog – Go Fug Yourself - and noticed that they had, once again, posted lovely things about Joshua Jackson. He and Diane Kruger seem quite adorable and happy, and apparently are quite charming, polite, fairly normal people.
For some reason, I felt the need to email the Fug Girls and let them know about MY experience meeting Pacey Witter. Who is, I must mention delicious, and whose lap I manged to just barely not crawl into. I respect the boundaries of Somebody Else’s Man.
(but only barely, Diane, so watch your step!)
I’m a flight attendant. I recently had the delicious Joshua Jackson on my flight from LAX-JFK and he was DELIGHTFUL. Taller than expected, WAY cuter than expected and quite nice. I do have to say, though, I wish I’d taken a picture, because he was wearing a cable sweater with BOBBLES.
Somehow, he still looked manly. I have no idea how.
xoxo, ladies, love the work!

And, happiest of happies – they wrote back!
Aw, yay! You know, we’ve gotten lots of emails lately from people who’ve interacted with him, and they ALL say he’s really nice. It’s so refreshing! Usually people are telling us about people who are secretly jerky.
Bobbles. I love that.
xoxo

I do love when good things happen on Mondays. I got lots done on the screenplay today, had a great breakfast at my favourite place, went to the doctor, had a good nap, got GREAT news about my NEXT project, and blogged. It’s a good day.

It’s normal, of course, for me to bite off more than I can chew, but this is getting a bit ridiculous.
I just finally finished my february column for Intrepid media, which goes live on monday. I have to finish the 2008 review column (it’s currently too personal). I’ve got three weeks to finish a screenplay I’m co-writing. I’m (luckily) not working too much in the next month. I’ve got more deadlines and other such things. I have recurrent training coming up to study for and I’m helping a friend move to Cincinatti.
I would ask for days off, but I wouldn’t get anything accomplished, so it’s best I just keep swimming, just keep swimming, just keep swimming.
